Angelica Sinensis, commonly known as "Dong quai or female ginseng" is a herb from the family Apiaceae, native to China, Korea and Japan. It is still used often in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), where it is usually combined with other herbs. In TCM, it is used to improve blood flow for cardiovascular conditions/high blood pressure, inflammation, headache, infections and nerve pain.
