Hair Protocol

GET Effective Hair Protocol is formulated with 10 ingredients synergistically to promote healthy hair and nail growth. Vitamins B, C, E, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium and omega 3 found in Spinach are vital for healthy hair growth. Iron helps red blood cells carry oxygen to hair follicles essential for strong strands of hair.

Spinach has always been used in various parts of the world as a medicinal plant specifically in cooking to help increase overall health. The various health benefits of spinach are due to the presence of minerals, vitamins, pigments and phytonutrients, including potassium, manganese, zinc, magnesium, iron and calcium. It is a rich source of vitamins like folate, niacin, vitamin A, B6, C and traces of the rest of the essential vitamins. Spinach is also rich in pigments like beta carotene, lutein, xanthene, and chlorophyllin. Some health benefits of spinach include improved eyesight, healthy blood pressure, stronger muscles, healthy fetal development and more.

Saw Palmetto is used in several forms of traditional herbal medicine. It is rich in fatty acids and phytosterols. It has been used in traditional, eclectic and alternative medicine to treat a variety of conditions, most notably benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men, breast disorder in women, male and female hair loss pattern. The eclectic medicine practitioner H.W. Felter wrote of it, “Saw Palmetto is a nerve sedative, expectorant, and a nutritive tonic, acting kindly upon the digestive tract. Its most direct action appears to be upon the reproductive organs when undergoing waste of tissue.”

Bilberry is a powerful antioxidant and has glucoquinine (lowers blood sugar levels). Bilberry contains flavonoids called anthocyanosides that protect the collagen structures in the blood vessels of the eye. Bilberry supports the capillary integrity of the retina and is used to treat eye problems such as macular degeneration, diabetic neuropathy, and/or cataracts. It is also used to treat diarrhea, varicose veins, and mucous membrane inflammation.

Ferritin is a protein found inside cells that stores iron so your body can use it later. Hair loss due to low ferritin is one of the most common types of hair loss we see in women. Rarely men can be affected too, but it is menstruating women who are most likely to be affected, as blood loss depletes iron stores. While it is helpful to include iron rich foods in the diet, such as red meat, dark green vegetables and dried apricots, if a person has a known deficiency, supplementation will be necessary in order to take in enough iron to raise the ferritin level. (Note that iron supplements should only be taken on the advice of a specialist, following appropriate blood test.)

Omega-3 is extracted from cold water salmons which contains high concentration in omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin E, Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) which cannot be produced by the body, and has to be obtained from alternative food sources. The DHA and EPA in Omega-3 plays an important role in brain function as well as in growth and development. They also reduce inflammation and are believed to reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, arthritis and cancer. They are highly concentrated in the brain and appear to be important for memory and performance.

L-Arginine is an essential amino acid that our bodies are unable to produce naturally. It may help to ease symptoms, increase exercise tolerance, and improve blood vessel function in people with Angina Pectoris (chest pain, discomfort of tightness that occurs when an area of the heart muscle is receiving decreased oxygen supply). Studies have shown that L-Arginine may be effective for managing inflammation of the bladder, relieving leg cramping and weakness caused by blocked arteries.

Vitamins A, C and E are well documented for their powerful antioxidant activity and are the subject of clinical trials worldwide.

Zinc is an essential mineral that is naturally present in some foods, added to others or available as a dietary supplement. Zinc also supports normal growth and development during pregnancy, childhood, and adolescence.
